Band 5  £30,024 - £32, 597 Fixed term contract until 31/3/29 

Further extension subject to external funding

 

Are you an excellent team player and communicator that is wanting to make a real difference to people’s lives in Fenland? If so, we would like to hear from you.

 

Possessing a strong ability to work under pressure, you will be the first point of contact for anyone requiring housing advice. Working closely with the Housing Options Officers, you will prevent homelessness where possible through negotiation with customers and stakeholders.

 

Your role will include daily contact with customers to provide timely and accurate housing advice with a key focus on homeless prevention.

 

You will need to be able to communicate effectively with customers and key stakeholders, both verbally and in writing, some of whom will have complex circumstances.

 

You will have responsibility for arranging interim accommodation placements where required. You will monitor progress with personalised housing plan actions along with liaison with partner agencies to ensure information is received in a timely way.

 

It is a varied and rewarding role, where every day is different!

 

Remote/Hybrid working is available for this role. You will be required to come to Fenland Hall or other Council Offices from time to time.
